The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section will be updated on the EUTeens4Green participatory platform regularly.

Queries about applications can be submitted by email to hello@euteens4green.org before 6 January 2023. The consortium cannot guarantee that emails will be answered after this date.

1. Is there a limit for the size of the group in case of the application by a group of young people?
There is no established limit, however, it needs to be of a reasonable size.

2. What are the primary selection parameters/KPIs to select the funded projects?
The winning projects will be selected based on 3 criteria: relevance, organisation of work, and impact and sustainability. Learn more about the Award Criteria.

3. Can the applicants who present a project use the money to cover their own salaries?
The money received should be allocated to reimburse costs of the activities implemented during the project and may include personnel/staff costs.

4. Can people who do not live in Just Transition regions apply to the call?
No, the applicant needs to live in a Just Transition region to be eligible to apply.

5. Does everyone in the group need to be the age of 15-24 years old or can people of other ages take part in the project?
We suggest a rule of thumb of a minimum of two people in the age group 15-24 to be part of the group applying. The person applying has to be in the age group, however other people in the group can be
older or younger.

6. What are the eligible activities that can be funded by the project?
The scope of the awarded activities can be really broad. We mainly focus on mobilising young people to engage their local community in the transition. Some of the suggested activities can include
awareness raising on climate and social issues, education activities on sustainability, participatory activities, capacity building activities, skill sharing activities with other regions, research and innovation or
campaigning and advocacy activities. This, however, is not an exhaustive list and creativity is highly encouraged.

7. What can be money spent on as part of the project?
You can spend money on the following: materials (writing materials, stereos, projectors, banners, posters, stands...), space (square, gym,
conference room...), people (volunteers, employees, freelance...), travel (possibly by bus and train), services (catering, translation,
advertising...).

8. The deadline for applications has been extended. What is the new deadline?
The new deadline for applying is 9 January 2023, 17:00 CET. According to the new timeline, the evaluation results will be announced in February 2023 and winning projects will start as of March 2023.
