    Our project aims to encourage the participation of young people living in the rural areas of Asturias into the process of the Just Transition. For this we plan to do a podcast and a participatory proccess.\n\"The project “Por un rural vivo” aims to encourage the participation of people living in the rural areas of Asturias, especially young people, into the process of the Just Transition. In order to do that we want to involve the organizations that are already working in the field and also the people that are not aware about the just transition or that they only heard about the negative effects. Moreover, we want to revitalize areas in which it is difficult to find activities and things to do in the spare time.\n\nIn the last years the number of podcast listeners is growing and it is a great way to learn something new that engages young people more than reading a book or watching a documentary, so by explaining the concepts of just transition and interviewing people that are experts on it in the entertaining way of a podcast it is possible to reach the target group easier. In this way, an 8 episode podcast series about Just Transition is included in the project.\n\nA participatory process will also be made in the rural areas in order to engage young people and make them understand that we need to make a change. \"
